Origin of Halloween :0

Halloween (or Hallowe’en) is a mostly national holiday celebrated on the evening of October 31; today it is often celebrated in the morning and afternoon as well. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, carving jack-o'-lanterns, reading scary stories, and watching horror movies.



Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain.The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Gaelic culture, and is sometimes regarded as the "Celtic New Year."The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the living and the deceased dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops. The festivals would frequently involve bonfires, into which bones of slaughtered livestock were thrown. Costumes and masks were also worn at the festivals in an attempt to mimic the evil spirits or placate them.
The carved pumpkin lit by a candle inside is one of Halloween's most prominent symbols in America and is commonly called a jack-o'-lantern. Originating in Europe, these lanterns were first carved from a turnip or rutabaga. Believing that the head was the most powerful part of the body, containing the spirit and the knowledge, the Celts used the "head" of the vegetable to frighten off any superstitions.The name jack-o'-lantern can be traced back to the Irish legend of Stingy Jack, a greedy, gambling, hard-drinking old farmer. He tricked the devil into climbing a tree and trapped him by carving a cross into the tree trunk. In revenge, the devil placed a curse on Jack, condemning him to forever wander the earth at night with the only light he had: a candle inside of a hollowed turnip. The carving of pumpkins is associated with Halloween in North America, where pumpkins were not only readily available but much larger, making them easier to carve than turnips. Many families that celebrate Halloween carve a pumpkin into a frightening or comical face and place it on their doorstep after dark.

she is famous singer in America. When she sung the song,I felt very excited and happy because
I was already addicted to her song when she sung.
Her voice very power,let me felt comfortable.I watch the video everyone listened her voice
very crazy and called out bravo.And she invited a man from Japan who play the violin,two people performed together,the scene was wonderful and great.I like it!!

Lottery Issue

Lottery
Don't work just get money,I believe this is everyone thinking.But don't have freeload
in the world,I think.If you get prize in lottery,I think you must to do good things previous
generation. I have never gotten any prize in lottery,I hope I can get prize only one time.

But I think carefully I feel just you win a lottery which is not forever,you still back to position
of work.Nobody can without work,only depend on lotteries' money,just let you get
many money,it is temporariness.I think gamble is not good thing,it can let people ruin so
that your family must receive pain of suffer.

Lottey is a popular activity,but I hope everyone should effort own's position of work.

Go to Bar :)

Today my friends and I went to bar in Hsin Chu,this is my first go to bar,I was excited.
From last week,we planned to bar because my friends and I have never gone to bar,
we decided to bar.At first,we entered the bar there's atmosphere very special but
the boss mixed the wines were so so.We ordered ''Sex on Beach'',''Bikini'',''Bloody Mary'' and 廣島冰茶.I thought ''Bloody Mary'' drinking hardly because she added pepper and tomato,I try it .........
I want spew. :(
But this is great experience for us.I was very happy.

AIDS Issue

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS),Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS or Aids) is a set of symptoms and infections resulting from the damage to the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

AIDS is now a pandemic.In 2007, an estimated 33.2 million people lived with the disease worldwide, and it killed an estimated 2.1 million people, including 330,000 children.Over three-quarters of these deaths occurred in sub-Saharan Africa, retarding economic growthand destroying human capital.Most researchers believe that HIV originated in sub-Saharan Africa during the twentieth century. AIDS was first recognized by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 1981 and its cause, HIV, identified by American and French scientists in the early 1980s.

Although treatments for AIDS and HIV can slow the course of the disease, there is currently no vaccine or cure. Antiretroviral treatment reduces both the mortality and the morbidity of HIV infection, but these drugs are expensive and routine access to antiretroviral medication is not available in all countries.Due to the difficulty in treating HIV infection, preventing infection is a key aim in controlling the AIDS epidemic, with health organizations promoting safe sex and needle-exchange programmes in attempts to slow the spread of the virus.

Female's salaries low than male?(question1)

In the past,female are always minority than male.No matter jobs,salaries or power, and so on,
male had advantage than female.Why is it that females are immersed in poverty easier than males? Statistics propose that there is a basis for their lives difficulty. According to the number of UN, about twelve to thirteen billion populations are immersed in poverty in the world, and nearly seventy percent populations are females. Although female or male poverty rate was still rising from 1996 to 2000, the poverty rate of females is higher than males. I list three points about the problems:

The first is historical reason because old people value male and depreciate female.They thought female should took care in husband and children,they shouldn't go out worked. If they went out worked,somebody said the woman didn't have virtue in the past.

The second is political reason.I think governments are important supporters becauce governments should help female search works and protect their lights and rise their salaries;don't should ignore their existence and discriminate against female.

The third is culture reason.India and backward countries have the problem because their culture is already deeply root,female's rank low than male,so salaries are more low than female or
even who didn't have salaries became slaves.

The problem is not easily solve,if the problem had solved,it couldn't just a trouble thing.
If everybody want to solve the problem,we should change our thinking.
Why do we have discriminate against female?Everybody is ''Man'',we should't differentiate male and female.God create Eve just company Adam so male and female are same,they can do any works not only male but female.

''Golden Bell Award''

The''Golden Bell Award'' is a TV program of award prizes.My family and I enjoy watching it because we can watch many stars attend to the important ceremony.
I watch the program,particularly,when these stars go red carpet(星光大道),female always dress fashionably and beautifully and male also dress smartly and handsomely.

In the ceremony stars can perform sing songs,dances and play piano and so on.Although the program is very long at least 2~3 hours,I think that these stars get the prizes very excited and they are not care time is very long.

The program will broadcast on next Saturday Nov. 1st.Everyone can watch it,if you were boring ,you can watch the program.It's very good.
